Chateau Petit Moulin 70 Hectare vineyard dedicated to producing top quality wine from its wonderful terroir.
Vineyards are planted for the greater part on a hillside particularly well exposed to the sun which favors quality ripening. This grape variety, the average age of which is 60 years, is traditional of the Bordelais (Merlot 70 %, Cabernet Franc 20 %, Cabernet Sauvignon 5 %, Malbec 5 %). Each block of vineyard is fermented and aged separately to bring out its optimal character before blending. Each vintage creates variations in the wine's character. In keeping with our dedication to the classic style of Bordeaux, we make our wines with the structure and body that can stand the test of time.
Chateau Petit Moulin’s philosophy is to produce original and limited cuvees distinct by the terroir, the age of vines, the grape variety and the blend, that deliver great value yet with very decent prices. We produce fruity, easy-to-drink wines but also more structured wines with ageing potential. The Bordeaux supérieur is aged in French oak barrels over the course of a year.
